Endura™: Ideal Cells for CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing

Endura™ Electrocompetent Cells

  • Exclusively from Lucigen
  • Better Lentiviral Stability
  • Recombination Resistant
  • Highest Efficiency for GeCKO Library Construction
  • Recommended in Lentiviral CRISPR Protocol
  • Also Available As Chemically Competent Cells For Non-Library Use With Lentiviral Vectors

Endura Cells Perform Excellent in CRISPR GeCKO Libraries

Stability of GeCKO libraries in Endura cells. Lanes 1 and 2,Separate libraries were prepared in Lucigen Endura cells and grown at 37°C. Library 1 was re-amplified by growth at 32°C (Lane 3). Undesired recombination may become more pronounced at 37°C. Recombination becomes more pronounced by growth at 37°C (data not shown). Courtesy Dr. G. Winter, MIT Broad Inst.

Lucigen's Endura™ electrocompetent cells are an excellent choice for cloning and amplification of lentiviral vectors. They are highly recommended by researchers for lentiviral libraries of CRISPR clones (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats), particularly the GeCKO v2.0 plasmid libraries (REF) (See Figure). NOTE:  Transformation of Endura Electrocompetent Cells with GeCKO lentiviral libraries may require extra Recovery Medium.  The Zhang lab protocol (available from Addgene) recommends ~2 mL of Recovery Medium per transformation.  Lucigen Endura kits provide 1 mL of Recovery Medium per transformation.  Order extra Recovery Medium here!
