Research Scientist -
cDNA Library Construction and Next Gen Sequencing

We are seeking a talented scientist to join our research team. In this role you will develop new tools for clone free library construction and sequencing, and will be responsible for construction of cDNA and clone free libraries for DNA sequencing with Sanger and next gen platforms.

Experience in purifying, characterizing, and converting RNA into DNA, as well as full length cDNA cloning and normalized library construction is required. Experience with nucleic acid modifying enzymes and polymerases are required. DNA sequencing experience with Sanger and next gen platforms is a plus. An advanced degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field is preferred, with significant experience and demonstrated success in constructing libraries, cloning, and amplification. A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience is required, preferably in an industrial setting. The ability to work well with other scientists in a creative and collaborative environment is important; the flexibility to adjust to changes in a rapidly growing company, as well as hard-work, is necessary.
